Pastoral Ministry

The sisters render their services in 26 Dioceses in pastoral, liturgical and Catechetical ministry. In most of the Parishes, the sisters teach Catechesis on Sundays, prepare the children and youth for the Sacraments of Holy Communion, Confirmation, Confession. Adult Baptism, marriage counselling and Catechetics, Bible classes, Choir are also taken up.

Sisters participate in various Parish associations, Small Christian Communities and organize prayer meetings. Some of the sisters take care of altar decoration, cleanliness of the Church and the Sacristy work where the Sacristan is not available.

Preparation of the Sunday Liturgy and youth ministry are given special importance. Imbued with the Charism of Communion the sisters encourage the parishioners to be united and faithful to receive the Sacraments.
