Community of Sangraha

Fr. Sahayanathan, the Parish Priest if Ramamurthynagar, approached our Sisters to work for the people in his parish. The Province considered this as a providential offer and decided to shift the Bharathinagar project to Ramamurthynagar. A rented house owned by Mr. Jayaprakash was taken. Srs. Georgina Ezhanikatt ( Superior ), Stella Francis and Sudha Lakra moved to Ramamurthynagar on 15th July 1993 to start the community.

Though the Sisters are young, they affirm, W We are able to live our commitment from the example and inspiration drawn from our senior pioneers in Bharathinagar ”. The Centre was blessed and opened on the 29th of March 2006. It will also be the formation house for the candidates, who are students.

The Charism of the Institute is really alive and active in Sangraha. ‘ Doing for God springs from being for God along ’ is an experience.
