Community of Prasan Niketan

In 1980 ‘ Prasan Niketan’ Community began to function, Sr. Mary Assumption as the Animator of the community. The community consisted of 15 members. To stress the importance of apostolic community, the community was entrusted with a specific ministry.

The sisters were actively involved in imparting education to economically poor students of the Milieu. The sisters ardently committed themselves to render their generous service in R. T. C. Higher Primary & St. Joseph’s High School and sheltering the orphans and disadvantaged children in R. T. C. Boarding.
